FOR 1 KG of ZAKIA PRO ORIENTAL BREAD MIX

  • 630 ml lukewarm water
  • 18 g baker's yeast

In the kneading machine, dilute the baker's yeast in the lukewarm water. Add the ready mix.

Knead at slow speed for 5 minutes and then at medium speed for 7 minutes.

Cover and leave to stand for 30 minutes at room temperature.

Divide the dough and then spread each piece out to 1 cm in thickness.

Cover and leave to stand for 1 hour at room temperature.

Cook

Cook in a non-stick pan over a medium heat for 6-7 minutes per side.

Tips

After you have spread the dough out, use a cookie cutter to create small batbout-style breads.

Bake in the oven at 190°C for 15 minutes to give your bread a golden brown colour.
